What If Other Video Game Franchises Used The Decision System Of Dragon Age: Origins #3- Assassin's Creed Franchise


What if the Assassins took a leave out of the Templar's book but lead the human race in a peaceful direction?

Option 1: Try to defeat the Templars by preventing them using the Pieces of Eden to force their agenda onto the world.
Option 2: Take the Pieces of Eden in the name of the Assassins and steer the Human race onto the path of peace and prosperity.

Outcome - "A united planet vs. the sun!"

Will this global power lead to a pacifist planet?

Have you played Assassin's Creed 2? Read all the Codex pages revealing Altair's life post-AC1? Then you'll know that he hid the Piece of Eden for the majority of his life, choosing to use its power at certain points to upgrade the assassin's equipment. Ezio would obtain the very same Piece of Eden in Assassin's Creed 2. Using it to overthrow the Renaissance Templars.

It is yet to be seen what Ezio chose to do with his time with the Piece of Eden and how it affected the world around Desmond, but surely it couldn't be any worse that what's currently happening with the templars in control. Altair makes several good points about the contradiction of the Assassin's goal and how they go about doing it. this would be their chance to change the world and its inhabitants for the better.

With a peaceful Planet Earth governed by the assassins without the forceful nature of the templars, so many of mankind's mistakes and wars could've been prevented, no World Wars, no nuclear weapons. Of course nothing ever goes as one plans, but through the strict teachings of the assassins and the knowledge of the "ones who came before" it could only be an improvement .

Currently there's a global problem in which the entire Human race is in trouble, the "ones who came before" have provided Desmond with the knowledge to try and save the world from the Sun's second planet-wiping supernova. But the Templars too have found out about it and are in a better position to act. In either Assassin's Creed 3 or 4 Desmond must not only defeat the Templars but save the planet too. There's no question that had Altair used the Piece of Eden without becoming corrupt himself (would that even be possible?) that the current assassins would be in a better place to act.

And imagine the great game-play you'd get, a mixture of DMC and AC as an Eden wielding assassin takes down Genghis Khan's army. Sounds good, doesn't it?
