What If Other Video Game Franchises Used The Decision System Of Dragon Age: Origins - Introduction

One of the many scenarios you are presented with in Dragon Age: Origins
Option 1: Free the werewolves of their curse and they'll turn back into humans, freeing the Dalish Elves from their battle to join you in your war against the Darkspawn Horde.
Option 2: Destroy the Dalish camp and slaughter the elves that live in it and take the werewolves to battle with you instead.
These are the type of chioces you have to make in Dragon Age: Origins. Some are clear-cut choices between good and evil, while some are a case of choosing the lesser (or greater) of several evils. Make the wrong move and a party member may up and leave you (or the right move, if that's what you had in mind to begin with), others could fall in love with you for it. The world which has been crafted for DA:O ensures that no single playthrough will play out the same providing that you don't repeat it on purpose of course.
My goal with this new
set of articles is to present and go through potential DA: O- style choices you could be forced to make in other franchises that didn't previously have them. And what storylines and gameplay changes these might make in an otherwise linear (albeit fun and rewarding) game.
